The 2021 Halloween Extravaganza has officially started!

All registered contestants may now start working on their entries. As a reminder, you have 3 days to work on your entry, and then 2 days to have it judged.
Due to the number of contestants, we may need to extend the number of days for judging.

All work on your entry must be done within the first 3 days of the contest. Working on it before or after these 3 days will disqualify you.

Server #2 has been set to gm_halloween as well.

It doesn't matter which of the 3 IJWTB server you are on.
You can work on your entry and have it judged on whichever you prefer, though #2 is on gm_halloween which can help if your entry relies on the dark/halloween ambience.

I didn't know that I was going to be busy tomorrow with schoolwork and I also want to take a break from things for awhile since I'm battling with my own mental health, school and family issues so I am asking to be removed from the competition.

I may participate again sometime in the future but as of now I need to get myself straight.

You can easily communicate with us over Discord or Steam. My week became unexpectedly busy, so I think we'll try to add a few more days for judging.

As a pro tip, if you're on the server and ready to present, you should ping the @judge roll or the judges individually. Don't just expect us to be on the servers 24/7. It's usually easier to get us to come on when you're ready than the other way around.

Hey man, just saw this. It is to no pleasure I say that I've been there and done that. I want you to know you got a good long life ahead (super long life if you are in college, high school, or even middle school lmao) and it took me a while to learn to just let things go, and focus on the bigger picture on what we want to do.

As for our mental health, is a bitch. We are all creatures of emotions and what I've found that helped a lot is to understand that there is a shit ton of people out there who had it a lot worse than I did. They kept their cool and turned out okay, and thus I wondered what made me think I wasn't going to make it or be okay?  . If you are in school, see if you can grab a copy of Lincoln - The Unknown by Dale Carnige from the libraries. Carnige has helped me through some very trying times, and I hope this can help you!

Don't sweat it, what ever you got in your school and life, you got this!

I'd like to be removed from the competition. I was unable to work on my build for the majority of the event.

We had 21 players sign up this year, with 5 drop outs, resulting in 16 judged entries, a tie with the most we've ever had over the last 10 years! The variety of entries being shown continues to evolve each year and gives us a lot of pleasant surprises.

Even though the time allotted for judging had to be increased due to a busy first week of November, we've managed to wrap things up quicker than usual. We were amazingly able to see every entry in-person, but still shared screenshots and videos. I want to thank all of the other judges for helping out this year and being available so quickly.

The list below shows the contestants that were judged during the event in order from the lowest score (top) to the highest score (bottom). The scoring was done based on a 1-10 scoring system with individual scores and a final average score for each entry.
