We shouldn't have this for the same reason we shouldn't have workshop dupes.

"Instead of programming an E2, you can just download one from the workshop." Same energy.
"Instead of making a pac, you can just download a public one." Same energy.
"Instead of making a vehicle, you can just spawn one that's already made for you."

Jeeps are premade vehicles, but you don't see high rank players driving those around, do you?

ive seen lots of people modify default vehicles. im sure they would get more creative if they had more vehices to modify. saying that a car addon would not encourage players to build is an absolute absurd statement. did you even read the post i made?

BUT 9 out of 10 times they are "making" something "original" from someone's idea, Not just throwing some props on a premade car and calling it original or theirs, [ohh but you're taking sprops and building with it that's someone else's idea]
Yes that may be some one else's idea but we are making something original with it.

Sorry if this is a mess I'm bad at these types of things, That's all I have for this I just don't want to see ijwtb become a crap hole like ts200, and I will be keeping my --support for this.

I'd like to just give a few last thoughts. I'm not that extreme on being for or against this addon, but I wanna provide my thought on the big thing people are debating about: How it will affect the creativity of players. "The right addon can attract the wrong people" is a fairly good point. You want ACF in a build server, but not in a DarkRP server as an example. And with simfphys, the opposite could be said, it belongs to a DarkRP server, and not a build server. However, the point also being brought up is that it can provide a more easy build for players with skill levels not quite there of ACF building. I think this really depends on the current status of the players who majorly come to the server. If a large majority of players that came on regularly were already capable of making up their own builds, I would easily not give my support to this addon. But the reason I will stand with my ++Support is because I am seeing a very scarce number of players who have that knowledge or capability. Most players are not very developed or only bother with using dupes from the workshop. Giving simfphys, with where a fair number of our player count is at, as an available addon to the server would at least give something you could customize easily. THAT is a good, small start for getting creativity going, and is on the same reasoning as why we give younger kids coloring books to color in. That lets them build the creativity of choosing what colors they wanna use, so that eventually they can begin to imagine the pictures they wanna draw instead of filling in something provided. And then, a player with this built up creativity can make the decision to jump up to a new level above simfphys. No player is going to easily go from driving HL2 cars around to building an entire chassis, tuning an engine and transmission.

I will not mind whether or not this addon gets it's way into our server. I only think that with the lack of anyone with a build interest, this will at least be a fair attempt and throwing that interest. The use of simfphys doesn't have to just be for cars either. A builder may use this to make their own race track, or to complete the scenic road they worked hard on with some simple cars to drive through it.

this is probably the most intelligent thing ive ever seen you say. I have never heard of ts200 but im sure adding simfphys wont attract trash to the place. IJWTB has a special type of community which will stay cemented for aslong as the servers are around.

--Support, I've been on a couple of build servers that didn't have this and got it added, it caused many people who actually built cars, trucks, and vehicles to leave the server for good and brought a bunch of lower aged kids in as they just wanted to mess with the cars and minge on other players with said cars. I've also seen the same in servers that I've joined with the addon already, any people that I met who actually would build stuff disliked the addon for its console spam and that users who would use the addon were of lower age (below steams age limit typically) and would also be the ones to minge. 

@Ander, the reason they are calling it a darkRP addon is that it actually is used on some darkRP servers for their car addon but they are more meaning that the addon removes the reason to build cars... on a build server. There is no reason to add the addon as it just discourages the building of cars. Counterpoint, yes it would allow people who don't know how to build a car to be able to use a car but there are also many youtube tutorials that allow newcomers to learn how to build a car. 

Overall, I see no reason for this addon to be added. You can always build your own car using the default HL2 jeep and adding some props and or holos to the jeep. You can also boost its performance with thrusters or apply force to the point of this addon. I personally dislike this addon but I guess we could see how the community treats it from a trial run on server one as the counter-argument for adding this addon is the newcomers and I don't see how it would be of much use to add it to build two as it is experienced players on build two.

if im being honest, you either have the 2 shittest cars in game or 3k hours worth of playtime just to make a chassis, i myself with 5k hours hate making acf cars, yet i would still enjoy driving anything that ISNT the jeep/airboat, simfphys provides customizable speed, torque, wheel camber, wheel height, wheel offset, etc and is also viable for low fps usage driving. p2m IS a thing but it has a limit and usually even with p2m after a few acf vehicles have spawned it starts using frames no matter what.

i feel the negatives are mostly true and should also be considered if this is added, ei limiting it to non-newcomer users or people who can access build 2 so it dwindles the amount of mingebags from putting everything to max and ramming players/builds/vehicles.
