Hey guys!
I'm the minge you may or may not know.
Today i got banned for "racism" and that why i created this topic.
The reason for my ban was "Being racist towards other players, after minged, being annoying towards others" and i got banned permanent.
now lets start the lession.

Racism: Racism consists of ideologies and practices that seek to justify, or cause, the unequal distribution of privileges, rights, or goods amongst, or otherwise exhibit hatred or prejudice towards, different racial groups. It is often based on a desire to dominate or a belief in the inferiority of another race.

Now i got accused for racism because i said "No one gives a shit about canadees".
The definition of "canadees" is unknown simply because it doesn't excist in the English language which makes it unlikely to get offended by it.
The person that got offended by it was Canadian and felt like "canadees" was something that had to do with him.
Now lets say i said "No one gives a shit about Canada/Canadians".
Now in that case the permanent ban is still not valid because Canada/Canadian isn't a race and theres no rules against your opinion of/offending a Nationality.

Since anoying shouldn't be a permanent ban and i haven't heard them asking to stop (Since all they did was yelling at the admin to ban me) that wouldn't be a valid reason for a permanent ban either.

Canadees in Dutch appears to mean Canadian in English (according to multiple sources), so I'm not sure if you're trying to talk your way out of what you said.
I'm guessing this occurred over voice chat since I don't see it anywhere in the logs leading up to your ban.

However, I do not entirely agree with the permament ban. Based on what I see from the logs, I didn't see anything that warranted a permanent ban. The only player that was upset was Senpai. Given what I know on the situation, that is a very minor issue to get upset over. People say worse things on a daily basis without being punished for it. Maybe I am not aware of the full situation, but it sounds like a voice mute would have been much better in this case. A temporary ban at the worst.

This isn't an abuse report or anything, but I'd like to hear Meowler's side of the incident. I'm leaning toward unbanning you based on the current evidence (or lack thereof).

Since this isn't a attempt to get me unbanned or anyone punished, rather a sort of joke lession because it's not any kind of racism, it's true that Canadees means Canadian.
I'm not going to run away from the facts, but as i said before it was meant as a joke and not offensive and no one ever told me to stop, they just told Meowler to ban me from what i remember.
Next to that i was speaking English at the time and did not attempt to use Dutch words to offend anyone.
See it as a "funny" way to pronounce Canadian yet i didn't try to offend him, and if he did, he should tell me to stop before going to the admin to tell him he should ban me.
If i would've continued after that i understand the consequences of a mute or warning and respect the actions taken by the admin.

Most of this was likely over microphone as the person in question must be gaming2.0 (or whatever his damn name is). He's contantly dishing out insults at kids and other people but it seems he can't take it. Pretty pussy actions imo

I have to agree with scott here. I was online a bit earlier when Friendly me, and basically quite some other people where just making jokes and having a laugh when that 2.0 guy started shouting to ban friendly. That was way before he said the thing about Canada/Canadians and I couldnt understand why he was saying it. It sounded more of a joke than a serious request.

Next to that, yeah, friendly sometimes makes harsh jokes and he seems to always go a littler further than anyone else would, I have not experienced something that really offended someone with the actual goal to offend him/her.

I'm just going to throw my two cents (which is worth more than two cents if you count the worth of the amterial of a penny) but this is the second time recently that someone has come been banned and saying they were joking. I'm not saying these were unfair or anything but I'm seeing people being a bit itchy on the trigger finger when it comes to these kind of things (mostly with votebans). I see someone get upset over someone they don't like or hasn't been warned and drop the perverbial hammer on them (mostly with the votebans again). Yes probably half of those that do get the hammer dropped on them don't actually read the rules, care for the rules or are only there to act as trolls but at the same time the other half aren't anywhere close to that. I'm not calling anyone out, pointing fingers at a group of individuals, or justifying anything someone has done but there is a much bigger problem here that needs to be addressed. This is not the case, Sylveon. RaygeGaming called him a redneck, and Friendly gave him an answer, getting perma banned right after. Even if he was not joking, I really think a perma ban is way too much considering the context. Friendly broke rule #1, not rule #7, and so did Rayge (Whom should be punished if we follow Meowler's racism concept). Seriously, if the admins were to punish every player that break rule #1, the minge/ban list would be at least 5 times bigger.

The only reason why I thought that friendly should of been perma banned was the racism part agaist canadians, and that someone in particuler wanted me to perma banned him via chat. But as far as I am concerned a genuine voice mute should of been done. Several people complained about friendly and I think at the moment just before I was about to perma banned friendly, I didn't give it any rational thought on the matter, however do I believe that several votebans were taken against friendly due to the annoyances of friendly via voice chat, and like I said before a voicemute would of justifyed the problem but I failed to act on it partially because it was kinda funny, but at the same time I failed to reconized that might have annoying others while they were trying to build. Again, I am truely sorry. I will admit, about 80% of the conversation was done via voicechat from multiple players, including myself and friendly. I am willing to unbanned friendly if it has not been taken care of.

Also, word of advice to friendly, try to go a little easier on the mic next time, I didn't catch half of what you even said while I was on the server even though is was kinda funny some.

There has been no votebans and no one tried to ask me to stop.
They just asked Meowler as soon as they saw the chance to get me banned.
As i've said before, i would respect the decision of a mute/ban if i continued after the person i talked to asked me to stop, but he didn't which concludes i also didn't attempt to break rule #7.
Next to that Meowler still compares me with a racist yet i explained what a racist is and have shown im not as seen on my first post.

My advice for Meowler would be to think about the decisions he takes before doing them and think about what would be a good punishment, in this case a warning would do since Meowler/raygaming did not ask me to stop but staight permabanned which doesn't give me a chance to stop.
